Default Mahle Pistons

Several years ago, when JAB Racing got with Mahle and started getting some pistons built...we ended up doing about 15 sets and then we discussed with LR, and LR started carrying those Mahle Pistons.

That said, if anyone who bought a set from me, still has them, and plans have changed, I need a set and thought I would check here first. I can work out a deal with LR no issues but again, thought I would see if anyone who bought a set still has them and wants to sell. Let me know here or PM, thanks. I'd prefer the 101mm but 100.5 is fine too.

Thanks Tom...Jim suffered a cracked ring on the 2.8L that we built years ago and he thinks he's going back to 2.5, so I was seeing if anyone had a set of those Mahle pistons that we did before he called LR.

I did send a PM to the guy who had the Mahle pistons with the 3.0L block to see if he still had them, as Jim has the IV VR kit already on the 2.8L, not sure if that would feed the 3.0L or not but would still need a 2.7 head to complete. We have 4 blocks between us...Duffin Engine will do the block as they have done with all the other - 6? - that we have done between us LOL.

Tom, are those 4 valve 3 liter turbo pistons? Or 2 valve?

I have one 101mm set, but am planing on using them. I would however exchange them for 101mm with stroker piston pin position..

2 valve 104.5 (3 liter) turbo (8.5:1) pistons. Not really for sale -- just nudging Ski in the right direction.

PM sent. The 104.5 2V Mahle pistons are still available: https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...o-pistons.html

In lieu of the 2.7 head, you can also have your 2.5L turbo head welded to match the water passage.
