951 Build
Bought a great condition fully stock 1987 951 in December and just starting my build:
Work done so far:
rebuilt PS pump
replaced all PS lines + reservoir
flushed all fluids
Rennline glove box repair kit
replaced new hood shocks
new windshield washer pump + all new lines
momo 07 steering wheel
suede shift boot + new boot surround + shift lever + bushing + heat boot + boot cap
clear front marker light covers
This month working on / parts going on the car:
BF wide body kit
GT-Racing vented nose + rear bumper
968 rear spoiler
968 mirrors
Joe Toth front splitter
D9 Hood vents
D9 short shift kit
D9 duel headlight kit
Full exterior paint job
I will be using the car in auto-X and some track so will be selling some of the interior parts... like very nice condition electric sports seats. Will post parts as they come off the car.
Many many other parts / work to be done, will keep posting as I make progress.

Sounds like a good build, and looks like you're starting with a clean car!

Just picked up the Joe Toth splitter from Mantis this afternoon... while I was there I decided to go with his SSK. Its actually a really nice piece, very well machined and put together. Also a great price at $165.

Had a shot at making my own RS style interior, doors came out pretty good.
Going to do center console and dash next, will post pics once done.
Suede + pull cord only cost me $52 from Fabricland.

The hardest thing with the glue is not getting it on you... I used low strength all purpose glue in a spray can. Its tacky enough to stick firm but it allows movement and play which helps getting the suede in place.
I am thinking of stripping rear seats back to bare metal as I will be putting in a triangulated roll bar.
I just finished the center console (now this ones a toughy) but with a little effort it came out great.
See console and armrest.

yeh power sports seats... I am really torn as they are nice original seats but as I will be doing some autoX and track days I am probably going to get a set of aftermarket seats. I like the looks of the Corbeau A4 seats as they seem comfortable and street friendly but have harness guides and high side bolsters for the track. Plus they weigh less than the factory electric seats.
