Default Why spend $30-$100 when...

You can do it yourself for 67cents. Hey guys, I was messing around in my garage today, I wanted to delete my rear wiper since I don't use it and its kinda ugly. I searched the Internet, there are a couple really nice ones out there don't get me wrong but I figured why not try it myself, So Down to the hardware store and 67 cents later I came up with this, it's nothing fancy and again I'm sure some others are nicer but it gets the job done and looks clean. Figured I'd share

Looks pretty good and you can't beat the price. If you ground down the letters on the bolt and added some wrinkle black paint on the parts you'd almost be spot on with the Porsche part.

Guess you don't know about Electrical Box 'Blank's' - used the cover an existing unused Conduit/Fitting hole. Plastic, with a rubber sealing Washer, all size's from 1/4" to Hugh. Just a bit better then using Steel on the Glass.

That's a good idea too... But didn't cross my mind, Just a Note I am Using the factory rubber seals on both sides of the glass, Incase some of you didn't know, That's what makes it water tight.

I used a hand grinder and smoothed off the letters/numbers on the bolt, Don't know if you can tell in the pic... Funny I had a can of the wrinkle spray but for some reason I just went flat black, Wanted to not draw attention to it.

Honestly with a little more effort (this took a whole 15min) I could probably come up with something that looks great, Makes me wonder how much money some vendors are making off the stuff they sell lol, Paragon has a wiper delete plug "kit" for $89...... I can probably make a really nice one for $1.00-$1.50 in parts lol
