Okay, now that the dust has settled we can talk about a comeback crazy part out, most of my exciting parts were depleted in the past two months i was out of commission, so iam looking at "big not guilty sale" wish i can do it here but as you know politics do exist even in Porsche forums, i would like to do a 968 but how desirable are engine components is there any interest here or should just stick to what i do best part out 951's

Tia for your input

Lart

I think the market is bigger for 951 parts being that there are many more out there being driven, they are older, they are generally worked harder from being modded or tracked, and the 951 is inherently a less reliable car than a 968. Do what you do best lart and help us boost heads stay spooled!

I have to say that the 968 block and crank are desirable upgrades for someone looking for the 3L Turbo. The transmission is also a good money maker, but the 951 does have more parts that will sell quickly after the few high dollar items sell. Go get us one.

I could probably be interested in some 968 parts... I was considering a 968 bell housing, torque tube, flywheel and clutch assembly.

Is parting out 968's really all THAT different from parting 951's?

Just do it. I'm sure you'll sell the stuff. Though I bet the market is a lot bigger for 951's. More of 'em and way more idiots blowing them up.

Stop living in the past. Start parting boxsters. While aftermarket parts will always sell, stock 944/951 parts market is flooded IMHO.
