Absolutely Eric,
They should be perfect on the top as the surface of the mount is very good. This really just came down to the preparation of the bonnet before applying the tooling gelcoat. These are going to be a dry lay and we will not be putting down any polyester gelcoat. The reason for this is 2 fold. These bonnets are mainly to be used on race/track cars and most track guys would prefer to spray their bonnet to match the car. this means that if we were to lay down a polyester gelcoat it would add about 600grams to the weight of the bonnet. However the bonnet can be cleared later by a spray painter if your desired look is that shiny clear carbon.
Regards
Sean

You're so fast getting faster!!!

ps....I heard via a couple of sources that a certain 4.0Ltr RSR is currently in a workshop not far from you getting totally rebuilt with a couple of turbos either side of a previously n/a motor....seems they might not have liked our little 944's getting too quick for them!

I heard the same thing yesterday. You may need to get that front end aero sorted sooner then you were thinking…..

I'm actually pretty happy about this. Be interesting to see what they come up with but I'd be guessing another 6 figure$ being spent on this already highly modified racecar.

Yeah, still no surer just how much quicker the slicks are than the soft R specs...might have to try them all the same.

So.. Is there ever going to be an intake manifold?.. I'm in the process of making one!

Do you have any pictures of the front side of the manifold; where the bellmouths connect to the adaptorplate

I bought an SFR one and ended up having to cut it up and make some changes. Had no attachment tabs for the fuel rail on runners 3 and 4 for one. That 90 degree to cylinder 1 bothered me as well.

Here you go, I am using a GT3 throttle for drive by wire...and that is the factory flange turned upside down.

Yes along with no lift shift, tapped the abs sensors at each wheel. 5 settings for sensitivity or fully off. It also allowed me to eliminate the Idle speed motor and its piping. I had already added the bung for it before I changed direction.
