Any DIY for the transmission mount?

Unless your hardware stores are a lot cooler than ours, I think it would be a long shot... I'd think something more like a marine supply store or something along those lines

Some people have done this with 3M window weld if you have trouble finding the liquid urethane. I did the liquid urethane to fill mine a couple of years ago and the transaxle does not budge now.

I pulled mine apart yesterday. Truly a 20 minute job if you have air and lifts. Mine had a bit of rust, so I spent some extra time sandblasting the support bar and spraying it with rustoleum to head that off.
Also, I just threw in a good condition stock mount for the time being. I'll order this urethane kit, use it to fix up my old mount then swap it back in. Thanks for the tips guys.

As I said I got it from a tradies store out in the western suburbs, it looks like Blackwoods sell it, but I don't know if they are anywhere close to you.

I didn't notice more noise in either of the cars I did this to.
Shifting felt much nicer though...and you can no longer grab the transmission and wiggle it an inch or two in either direction by hand...
