Good attitude Shawn...
Here is how I would do my launches. Find the engagement point of the clutch pedal and press down slightly so its not engaged but well off the floor (do this with some rpm when lining up, you will feel it). You will need to find an rpm mark that balances wheel spin and a hard launch which will vary most nights depending on the temp and track surface prep and tyre pressure etc. Start with 3-4k rpm for example. So with the rpm at 3-4k, and the clutch not engaged but slightly off, pull the hand brake and slightly release the clutch so its engaged and the car squats but doesnt move forward, just primed for a hard launch. Then when you are ready to launch, at the same time release the hand brake (you dudes call it e-brake?), feather the clutch depending on wheel spin and gas pedal the same.

Lol, you guys are funny. I've seen it done by Josh, but I just couldn't do it. I actually wanted to wire up aelectronic brake controller to put pressure on the rear yo load the suspension. But, I'm just not that serious about it.

Thought I would share about a cool conversation I had today with Alois Ruf. One of my clients has several RUF cars and so I had an opportunity to talk to Ruf a bit. Was able to share with him about what we have been doing with the Hybrid Strokers and other advances in the 951 platform. Pretty cool.

Awesome opportunity to talk to someone with such a deep history with Porsches Shawn.
Would love to have one of these guys drive or be driven in your car just to get their impressions!

Haha, awesome Shawn! I'm sure there's some interesting stories connected to those clients. Have you discussed your car with them and is there any chance of getting them in either the passenger or drivers's seat? Be fascinating to hear their impressions of your car vs theirs.
