I'm currently on 0° I did have the 3° cam key in, and i didn't get any where forward with it. Although i did spool up quicker, i didn't gain power bottom end. Top end stayed the same, which shows the cam will still make power past redline.

Here's a chart, using my lookup table on the maf voltage to get a HP chart, then converted to torque using Torque = hp x 5252 / rpm (take numbers with a grain of salt)

Note: KPAx2 is the KPA value but doubled to register on the graph properly.

Is this chart with and without the cam key? Do you have a chart comparing old and new cam?

that is with and with out the cam key. the cam key in, i had earlier spool, which is all makred with (2)

i didn't get clean data while logging with the old cam. i'll try find it, but it's very jagged and had to use smoothing to get a decent looking line. i realised the problem was the SD card.

But the log (torque graph) looked similar to with the cam key in, similar peak, drops quicker top end and peaked at 6k But like i said, the log needed to be smoothed out so the lines move around and isn't that accurate as the SD card couldn't handle the logging rate.

Paulyy, I am digressing a bit here, but how were the lifters modified for your application?

the oil hole has a groove milled out allowing oil to still flow to the hole while the hole is out of reach from the area it's suppose to receive oil from.

Okay that's what I assumed. Easy enough, thanks!

Tonight I went over to the dyno to see how my new head and cam performed. Great hanging out with Brad (ILIKEMY944). Pretty happy with the results! Put down 535 rwhp at 24.2 psi. With my old setup I put down 508rwhp at 24.8 psi. Most importantly I love the curve. I lost very little bottom end and the top end is really cool. I think I would keep making power all the way to 7K. The cam and short runner intake are working together as I hoped they would. The other run on the plot is at 23 psi. Next week I will return to the dyno to cross over 550 rwhp

Also, like to thank Rogue and Sid for all their help this Winter.

Far similar to what im getting!

might feel slower as the torque is lower then HP. but because you don't drop power, revving to redline gives you so much more!

Should put the graphs new and old together to see how much the cam changes it.

Congrats on your progress and numbers Shawn!

I am curious as to how you guys maintain traction with this much HP/TQ.

My car makes 330RWHP 340TQ and I spin here and there.

I'm sure everyone that watches that video gets the same spontaneous, sh*t eating grin on their face that I did when that thing comes on boost

Great work Shawn, we are collectively in awe and grateful for the work you've gone to to document your build(s).
