Default Rogue Tuning: DME Logger!

Ok, so as many of you know, this is something I've been working on for a while now. Well, I'm finally satisfied with the logger and will start taking orders in the next couple of days.
I first mentioned the logger in my thread located here:

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...agnostics.html

There is a lot of info in the thread, but please also take a look at the page specifically for the logger:

http://www.roguetuning.com/dme_logger

I am really excited about the logger, and the diagnostic/tuning ability it brings to our 944/951s! It has made tuning significantly easier, not to mentioned helped eliminate costly traditional diagnosis methods. I used the logger exclusively in development for the upcoming NA-Tune (944Non-Turbo MAF kit), and it proved invaluable.

Over the next couple of days, I will put up the installation instructions and necessary PC files to work with the logger, and then turn on the ordering.

Right on. Everyone's going to love this. It's been very instrumental for me. It's about time

Just the time saved in diagnostics has been well worth it.

Now I just need a small pc that I can power off of 12v and I'll use it as a set of gauges.

Again awesome work!!!

A DME logger that isn't vaporware! Who'd a thunk it?

Looks great Joshua! Can't wait to try it out!

Ha, I guess my price is too low..? Don't worry, for you I can raise it

Yes, the price on my website is correct: $200 for the logger.

Would this take the place of say Wideband O2 and boost gauge? How does it hook up to the car's computer?

Josh is probably busy do I'll answer the best I can.

You will still need a wide bandn and to tap a signal from. I'm not sure which ones he's set up for. I have Zietronix and he has innovate.

It is spliced into a couple of wires on the harness and there is a little box that converts to USB. Super easy to install.

bam I'm down for one as soon as the paypal goes online.

edit - I guess I jumped the gun on the post... this device is just for logging, correct? The first thread mentioned tuning as well, is that a separate thing entirely that you're working on or will the logger allow saved changes with the TunerPro software to the mtune setup.

I suppose, technically, it could... but boost and WBO2 are two of those gauges that are nice to have, to keep a constant eye on things (much like oil pressure and water temperature). If something goes or feels wrong, those are the gauges I immediately look at. I don't want to have to rely on having my laptop up and running to keep an eye on things.

Just thought I would ask. I have a gauge pod on the way from a fellow lister on here. I have a boost gauge ready to install, but am still looking into a Wideband O2 setup.

Looking over Josh's site, you can opt for the Ostrich setup and do you tuning that way, but I was under the impression that he was working on a plug and play without the chip emulator. Hopefully Joshua can clarify this later today.
