Update #2
I'm getting pressure to take the plunge and go full Penske shock with the factory Penske engineer track side to set the shock up.
Only another $7k additional over the JRZ + $750/day for the engineer.
I'm like a hemophiliac.....

I would have thought to qualify as a hemophiliac you'd still need to actually have some blood left to bleed!!!
Would be a great opportunity to get it setup really well, but you could pay someone less to setup the JRZ's or whatever and how much difference a lap would that cost you? Have you got shock pots?

A couple of updates.... (more tomorrow).
The fuel cell plumbing is completed.
And the new front uprights are here. We had a problem with the previous setup due to the 996RS uprights not using a standard mount. After evaluating out options, we decided to upgrade the suspension to full 2012 997 Cup with center locks.
Here are the new front uprights being delivered to Vision tomorrow.... They are a thing of beauty.

And today's update.....
Then new uprights are not in yet as we are waiting for the new shocks. But you can see quite a bit of the small stuff is installed.
The fuel system is done, the dash is done with the Racepak dash and twin analog fuel gauges (more lights and switches to be installed at a later date, the brake balance adjuster is mounted on the center column dash, the shifter is getting modified, the new front sway bar is installed and the bump steer is getting sorted out.
Notice the dash is two pieces. That's because the fire bottle, the Smartwire, the PCM, the Battery, etc... are all mounted down low in front of the main fuel cell. To access it you have to either squeeze by the shifter or take off the removable piece of dash and access from the top.

Looks fantastic. How did you sort out the front suspension issues? Is that bladed bar custom or could it be made to fit a more 'normal' 951?
