lart, if you keep telling the public about all of the "TRANNIES" you sell, it's going to be tough sledding in court!

And as a result I've grenaded 1 transaxle, 2 CV axles, crashed it once, caught it on fire a few times, blown 1 head gasket, broke 1 timing belt, burnt 1 clutch, and completely seized and fried the motor once.

But there's no stopping!!!!!!!
you make me so foggin proud...err sumthin!

When did my car turn into a 911 Turbo? Did someone go to my house while I am away and swap them out???

So, reading all of this...I am now confused.

Should I be using my Busa to drag race instead of the 951????

Did I miss something... have Porsche ever said "these cars are not meant for straight line performance"?
Did Porsche not market performance numbers for these cars by no other measurements than a straight line? 0-60 mph, top speed and maybe standing mile.

Are there better alternatives - yes.. but then again, are there better alternatives to what you seem to think this car's purpose is (turning corners) - YES!

In the second video, I botched the start, but you can actually SEE the car accelerating harder at the END of the track. 11.9 @ 123.4mph.
I love this. Thanks for sharing. These videos have pushed me over the edge and I will definitely be taking my car to the strip once it is done.

I've Ran over 100 passes in the last two years.

The times ranged early on from 12.8 to 15's

From July of last year the car has been pretty consistant high 12's with the two step.

Towards the end of last year pretty consistant 12.7 and went many 12.5's and a 12.4

This year I have ran consistant 12.5-12.7 at low boost.

My best 60' is a 1.61. I get pretty consistant 1.8's.

I I have never trailered my car to or from the track.

I drive it daily unless it snows.

The only other drivetrain part I have broken was due to me messing around on the street and breaking something in second gear. That was on a downshift.

Overall I'm very pleased.
How long did you run the Mule with a blower and an NA transaxle?

I drove it a few years. I only took it to the track a few times and I did break the spider gears. I probably only made 10 passes before the na trans broke. I did still drive it home though

That car ran mid 13's pretty consistant after installing an IC, with 60 foot times of 1.9-2.1 seconds.

10 passes, with what, 300rwhp on a weak *** NA trans? That's still awesome.

I recently ran my 944turbo out at the dragstrip and rolled a 6.0 GTO 3 of 4 times we ran.

That's a good start.

I don't have my slips in front of me but iirc it was like high 7's at 89-93. These cars need the second half of the track to really get going.

Thanks.

Yeah they do! lol Always makes for more fun and interesting races coming from behind in the end when the turbo finally spools up!

I plan on taking it to a 1/4 mile strip hopefully this summer. I'll post some new vids when I do.
