Default Dyno for NASA ST2

Racing the Little Monster in NASA ST2 this weekend for the first time. The required calculated HP/WT ratio to qualify for ST2 ends up being 8.5:1. The class rule starts at 8.7:1 but hey give credit for tire size 275 to 255 (.4) but take away (.2) for low weight.

The HP, Torque curve and AFR remained consistent with my unrestricted dyno run.

We used a 50mm restriction plate to bring it into compliance.

Current minimum weight with driver 2752/HP 322.

Nailed it! Perfect dyno for the NASA rules as I read them. Tq and HP are about the same and torque is huge over the whole usable range. Looks like a competitive car for sure.

322 horsepower but we can make probably make 350 by inserting the 60mm. We made 337 with the 55mm.

It's Jim, but you can call me whatever you want.

We made up 5 separate restrictors so we can run pretty much anywhere we want.

Wow, just a smorgasbord of power. Nothing stupid but plenty of it everywhere. What do you think is the max without restrictors Jim?

This is the original dyno sheet without a restrictor.
