Good work. You do need to start your pulls earlier in the rpms though. You're changing your curve dramatically starting so late. I meant to say something before but...

Anyway, seems to be getting better every time. Just like my year. Pretty amazing combo if I do say so myself.

Thanks Sid. I think the difference in the curve shape is due to settings in the EBC. Still messing with the gain. I don't think I was clear that the graph shows a pull from a few weeks ago with MBC and a pull from tonight with the EBC.

I'm looking at the two most recent pulls. Looks like the latest starts later in the rpms. I noticed that if you start earlier, around 2200, that the torque escalates much sooner.

I noticed this on yours and mine as well.

Nice numbers Shawn- not as crazy as Sid's but still a hoot to drive on the street I'd imagine. You'll like it even better at 21lbs.

Interesting on the overlay. The peak power increased almost perfectly in proportion with displacement increase, but the curve is undeniably improved across the range. Nice!

No real point in me pushing much past 18psi as the turbo runs out of steam for sure.

Also, Jim asked for an overly of the 2.85L Stroker dyno with my old 2.5L so I had Arthur at DynoLab plot it for me. Here it is. Both runs were 18 psi and both runs used MBC:

THanks Shawn! THis is now another one of your threads I will have bookmarked

Pretty interesting to see how similar the curves are between the two. Just "more" really.

So you've hit your 400RWHP/TQ goal, but still some massaging to due...how is your tune?

Really not a lot of difference except displacement. I also added the bigger valve head but I do not think I am taking advantage of it with my current turbo. Sid's motor has shown that the stock head flows pretty well.

Not much to tune. Everything is spot on thanks to Rogue. This is the end of the line with the current turbo. I am researching turbos and will be making some changes.

Shawn, mine is only stock valve size. There is a bit of work done.

Looking forward to your turbo choice!!

Sid, with you I use "stock" in the loosest sense of the word as nothing on your car is "stock"

Sorry if this has been asked before....Aren't you currently running a 60-1?
