I've got a similar problem on my 928.

Yeah it sounds good -- but it's so loud my fillings rattle.

The sound is not quite as raw as the Magnaflow, especially at idle where it is more muted. I guess this is to be expected as the Dynomax is a bit larger and appears to have more sound suppression materials (thought it is straight through the casing is a bit larger).

So far my only disappointment is with the quality of the finish on muffler. The stainless looks like aluminized steel (I guess I am used to the polished Magnoflow). And for $95 I really cannot complain.

Any updates? Any issues with rattling?

My Fabspeed/SFR 3" exhaust is just too loud..even with the cat installed. To rectify this I'm thinking of buying a Dynomax VT (with coupon it's $63 at Advance Auto today) and installing in place of the cat/test pipe section of the exhaust, upstream of the rear muffler. Anyone see an issue with this? I'm not terribly concerned about losing a few HP, traction is an issue anyway.. I just want a quiet(er) car

How has the Dynomax VT held up over time? Any issues to report, or still working nice and quietly?

I'm running the LR 4in exhaust with the Magnaflow. Whenever I make the long 2 hour trek to the other track...I cure the loud exhaust problem with soft foam earplugs.
