Bruce, I will ASAP. I need to get a few things sorted in my life first before I can go potentially blow it up. But I will really soon.

Yeah, I don't think I've ran regular fuel for at least 5 years now.

Patrick, it is a Spec pressure plate using one of Dnovak's feramic 6 pic discs. It is a bit grabby, but it is holding and that is all I care about now. Dave will have a clutch setup available soon that uses the stock PP (reworked) and this disc. It should be able to handle most power levels. We'll be testing it out on his car soon.

I imagine that fuel is a big part of why you can run such high compression with boost on these motors with success, with a smidge extra help from the mile high air. I suspect it wouldn't last too long on California's anemic 91 octane. You'd think California would embrace E85, but the closest station to me is still miles away.

Definitely keep us in the loop on that combo or version of. Is it grabby just off the mark or reversing vs once on a roll?

This is exactly what i did to my clutch a very long time ago. I had the fulcrum points moved on the stock pressure plate and threw in a metallic 6 puck disc. I was a Clutch Masters Distributor at the time, and had them re-work it. It is grabby, but you learn to slip it just like a regular clutch, just with a quicker engagement distance. I beat the hell out of mine. It showed absolutely no signs of wear. It was clearly able to handle much more than the 400+ hp I was throwing at it, even with pretty hard launches and quick shifting. I was more worried about the transmission. SO PAT.. I highly recommend it if Dnovak is doing this.

Yeah it is surprising they don't jump on it. Probably due to transport.

There is no doubt it is the top reason I have had luck with high boost and compression. This engine however is only 8.5:1 so it isn't much of a challenge. It also helps that Josh can tune everything to work properly.

Ah for some reason I though you were running much higher compression. 8.5:1 is manageable even here in CA....
