Default V-Band clamps for SFR 3 piece cross-cover

While doing some maintainence on my turbo, I saw that my current V-Band clamps supplied by SFR are deforming somewhat (Circa 2007). They are somewhat bent on the section that gets pulled when clamping. Is anyone else having the same issue?
Are there other alternatives that people have found to be more durable?
Thanks.
Raj

I didn't have any issues with the two piece crossover v-bands I got from him in 07. Sold them last year and they were fine.

And maybe one day they will end up back on a car...

I havent had any issue YET. Sounds like your exhaust is tweaked.

The V band clamp allows too much movement on the bolt head. That is the problem. It has nothing to do with tweaked. I see better designs out there. I guess I will be switching.

I have no experience with products from SFR but I have had my share of issues with cheaper V-Band clamps.

The last set I bought ran me close to $100 each for a 4" header collector.

I see that Lindsey has changed their two piece cross over to a tri-bolt pattern. My earlier version has the v-band clamp and leaks. Wish I had a fix for it.

It only affected one clamps (the one to the header). I have a replacement on its way.
