Stock, that does go to the wastegate. If you're using a dual port and MBC then you don't really need the CV anymore. You could remove the CV, the two hoses, and plug hole in the J-boot with a bolt or block off piece. Lindsey Racing has a silicone hose to replace the AOS to J-Boot run if you want to ditch that whole metal squid under the intake, it cleans things up nicely.

So since I don't have the J-boot because I'm running a MAF I could just pull that CV along along with the pipes. I run the Catch Can off of the hose but I guess if I pull that CV I could just run the Catch Can hose all the way up their eh?

Default help!! question on start up.

So when I'm cranking the engine over with the plugs out and the dme relay out should I be seeing oil pressure on the gauge? My dad is convinced I should but I'm not so sure. I've also cranked it over about 5 times for about 10 seconds each. I haven't seen the oil move on the dip stick. Help!!

I said F it and started it up. ran fine..than the oil started to pool on the garage floor. It looks like it's coming from the block banjo bolt that runs to the turbo... I have to take the manifold off again.

My question is from previouse posts. I have been running my catch can off of the steel tube that runs under the manifold to the AOS. I also have a Manual boost controller, a duel port wastegate, and a MAF so I was going to pull that metal crap since I don't need it and I don't have the intake J boot. When I pull the metal lines out from under the manifold, could I just run the upper hose on the catch can directly up to the connection at the AOS? I noticed some other guys have those lines run up their but I don't really know where they go. I also would like to purchase air hose rather than the expensive line Lindsey has. Thanks in advance guys.

alright so I got the thing running. My next problem is the steam vent kit coming off the block is leaking. It's not leaking out at the block but up where the hose goes into the 90 degree push fitting. Has anyone had a similar problem? I looked on LR and I didn't see where they sell the 90 degree bends without buying the kit.

Thanks

Got her running. Did about 20 miles today and tried to keep it out of boost. Only hit 7-10 psi about 5 times. I also drove it down to the Redmond Town Center car show so I thought I would share some pics with my terrible Iphone. Their was a solid Porsche showing. The downpipe and exhaust make my car noticeably loader and I definitely notice the bigger turbo spooling up a little later. Glad I went with the dp.

hint; see if you can find rap artist Sir-mix-alot behind the audi R8

So I drove the car yesterday and today and I'm trying to figure out how to dial in the LR boost controller. I have a dual port WG but I was only using the side port before. I painted a mark on the boost controller when I was using the Single port and about a quarter turn in either direction would increase or decrease boost by about 4 psi. Now when I rewired it to the way LR recommends I can do a full turn in either direction and I can't get the boost down below 15psi. I pull off the throttle because I don't want to over boost my new turbo. Did anyone else have this problem. Is their a way to reset the boost controller? Thanks in advance.

I believe when switching from dual port to single port with a black **** that you then have to reverse how you regulate boost. If fully CCW was low boost before, then fully CW will be low boost now.

Alright I did some more research and it looks like if you uses dual port mode with a bleeder type MBC you will create a leak and their will be no boost limit. My MBC looks like the LR one. Is their an easy way to tell which type of MBC you have?

This is how I have it set up. I can't seem to get the wastegate to crack no matter how far I turn the dial.
