Default Warren's Build (Look what came in the mail)

Super 61 and 3" exhaust. Looking to put this in within a couple weeks and hopefully help some newbies that are looking to do the same thing.

Alright so here is the start of my build. I found some oil sitting on the top of the valves. Any thoughts as to where this is coming from. I had to move the car into the garage and I didn't let it warm up but I don't think all of this would be from first starting it up. The engine was rebuild at 178,XXX and now has 203,XXX so I don't think it's the valve seals. Running the stock turbo but I'm not sure if it's been rebuild. Any help is appreciated.

I also noticed my idle stabilizer is just sitting underneath my manifold, the rubber attachments snapped in half at some point..

Also this is the first three hours. Took of intake, manifold, Tb, wastegate, looking to go after the dp next. Any suggestions would help.

Default finally out

I was able to pull the turbo out last night. I was also amazed that I didn't strip the turbo mounting bolts. I have a past history with stripping. Anyways the stock 26/6 was never rebuilt or taken out of the car. Car milage states 204,XXX. I know it's a california autoX car and was driven up by my friend and previous owner. The turbo pushed 18psi from 179,XXX to 204,XXX. Not bad I think for a stock turbo.

I figure I'm going to run stock dp. I'm not ready to pay $400 for one.

It does look like it would hook up directly to the LR 3bolt dp flange. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks for the suggestion Doug.

It will, it's just a replica KKK housing which as a standard 4-bolt flange as found on #6/#8 housings.
And the 3-bolt flange at the other end is "OEM" so exhaust part manufacturers make them all that so you can bolt up to stock downpipe or stock catpipe, etc.

Made a little more progress today. I was able to drill out the turbo temp sensor so it's ready for the 3/8 NPT tap. I was able to see what my water line is going to look like, just have to screw it all together. I got the fapspeed downpipe in the mail on Thursday and put that on. I also pulled the rest of the exhaust. I put the new clamps on the new one and I plan on using the old muffler and tip just because I like the look of the flared tip rather than the strait pipe. I'm still not sure if I want to weld the entire exhaust together or go with the clamps. I also put the two screws in for the TB to clear the turbo.

hahaha...I'm 5'11" 180Ibs and my hands are bigger than all my friends around my size. It might just be the picture.

PiperPorsche, I'm shooting for low 13's, I guess we have similar set ups. My next mod would be the wavetrac LSD. I'm also running LR chips and mafterburner. Nice to see someone with a quarter mile time with the 60-1. What kind of power are you putting down?

I would weld the exhaust, but that's just me.
