I would buy one if it would not cost the world to get it to Holland

I'd buy one and a spare set of the seals (or two) for my old one.

On Friday, I spoke to Jon who I explained that Pilk needs to keep us in the loop. By not telling us anything makes this project loose steam and us folks seeing the idea die. I am told this project is very alive and Pilk is just trying to get it right.

Just to let everybody know, Pilkington has my car today for some fit testing of the sunroof. Not sure if I'll get a chance to see it, but if I do I'll let you know how it looks.

We are indeed running some tests today on the outter seals. Initial signs are good but I am waiting on details. I'll see if I can snag some pics and keep you posted on test results.

Pricing has not yet been determined as we are still testing final components. As we get nearer to completion, I should have more information on pricing.

Speaking of testing, the outter seal test yesterday went well and we are closer to a solution. Check out the pic from the test below. Snug fit - hard to tell the glass from the metal!

That's the trouble with a black car - from the outside it's hard to tell the difference between the glass roof and the factory metal one (from a distance anyway). But from the inside it's totally different - so much lighter.

I am betting that if this comes to fruition, there will be a lot of these sold.....
Thanks for the updates and pictures
