Update - my wife is supposed to be bringing back the latest sunroof tonight for me to try out. I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully they have the seal issues figured out.

The verdict is...fantastic.
New seal is a huge improvement. Nice tight fit, no squeaks or rattles anymore, and it looks a lot better too. Think it's ready for prime time.
I've attached a couple of photos. Sorry for the crappy quality - I was late for work this morning and didn't realize I had something smeared on my phone camera lens. Hopefully you get the idea.

Looks great!
I was totally in when this thread was first made...but now I'll probably be welding the sunroof on my 968 since it's a track car. But it would be nice to have on the street!

Fantastic. Chen was a believer and started this project with me almost two years ago. I hope Pilk will reach out to him and tell him it is ready to go.
