Default Help me identify left over parts?

Hey all,

I was just looking through my parts shelf in my garage and found a few parts (o-rings and crush washers and some other stuff) and I don't know what they're for. I can only assume that they're left over from the massive pile-o-parts I ordered when I had my engine out... bu I really have no idea what they go to. Ideas?

TIA!

Looks like weight-savings to me, albeit minimal!

It's got to be driveable before any weight savings matters...

Thanks John! Much appreciated. I hope those crush washers are for the drain plug... It would be nice to have a few extras around. No idea why I would have a spare OPRV o-ring, but cool.. I guess. I was thinking oil cooler on those other ones, and the last one has me completely confused... I don't know why I would have that... I never intended to take that thing apart...

anyway... I haven't been around much lately, have I missed any news on the turbo engine?

Thanks guys! I was thinking that I sort of remembered them being the bits I didn't need from the oil cooler kit I got.

I don't know about 347.980/131 being oil drain plug crush washers, I've never seen them in copper before.

Depending on the dimensions, could they be for the turbo oil supply where it attaches to the balance shaft cover (900.123.007.30 Sealing Ring, A 14 x 18)? Or if it's really large, could it be where the turbo oil drain hose attaches to the block (900.123.049.30 Sealing Ring, A 26 x 32)?

ZerMATT has the right idea.

For the stuff that has part numbers printed on the bag, it's pretty easy to do a search on Pelican or in the parts fiche to see what they are

I've got a whole big box full of extras and leftovers from my rebuild last winter. Part of the problem with staggering out my parts orders to ease the financial blow... sometimes I'd forget that I already ordered a part, other times I ordered stuff in a "kit" and then ordered them separately too....

There's no chance they're for the turbo drain... nowhere near that big... they're probably for the turbo oil supply. Thanks Matt!

Yeah, I think I did the same thing with the re-ordering stuff I already had. I looked on Pelican, and didn't find conclusive answers, hence asking.

Just in case you didn't notice, the Forza 4 January car pack has an Omni GLHS in it I was pretty happy when I saw that one come up in the queue
