Oil change from top

Has anyone performed a DIY oil change on a 951 from the top with a pump?
Since it is a PITA to access the drain plug below, this from the top method seems compelling.
Thanks

Jack and stands here...non issue...I spend more time cleaning up than changing the oil (not sure what the logic is to make a filter unscrew from the top and drain down..)

Eh, using some sort of vacuum to suck it out would be kind of convenient. Just pop up the hood and let it go, come back in a few minutes and replace your filter and oil.
I'm pretty sure people have done it OP

Thanks for your opinions, but with all due respect the intent of my question was to see if anyone has used the "from the top" form of oil change, not debate weather dealing with ramps, jack stands, etc is a PITA.
A simple "I have no experience with this technique and can't offer any meaningful advice " would have been a more appropriate response.
Don't think I purchased the wrong car - just think I got responses (with the exception of one((thanks)) from the wrong audience.

I am assuming since you think getting to the drain is a pain, you haven't messed with the filter yet. Normally you need to get at the batwing to clean all the oil dumped while pulling the filter.

Mityvac. Topside changes for the win. Doesn't make a mess at all when done right. Even if you don't let it sit for hours, you can put a few rags next to the housing and nothing ends up on the ground.
Mityvac. Yes.

That seems like quite a waste of time for such a small job. It would be far more time efficient to just clean up spillage and be back on the road in an hour or less.
