I plan on doing my first ever DE in my daily driver (2009 Acura TSX).
(My 3rd) Lemons race in February at Texas World Speedway (TWS) in my (hopefully completed) 91 Honda Civic and co-workers 93 Nissan Sentra SE-R.
All the meanwhile finshing my 88 951 and breaking it in. Installing a standalone ECU in April for my birthday.
4-6 DEs in the 951 at TWS and Motor Sport Ranch through the rest of the year.
2-4 more Lemons/Chump Car races.

(10) POC races (30 track days), probably a couple NASA races for fun (6 track days), at least 10 "test and tune days at either Buttonwillow or WSIR, and probably 10 or so fun days (with local clubs that rent the track out for fun lapping sessions....).

Yes, sounds dumb. If I ever manage to get my car on the track at Bathurst I won't be going slow for anyone!

The 2:40 mark is not the track, but the event. It's designed for street cars mainly, or guys that run in our club events. 95% of them won't have a roll cage. Later on that year there is another event that you can go as fast as possible. I hope to make that in 2012.

Also guys, please feel free to name tech / hardware changes that you're making too. Not just planned track events. Feel free to post pics/video if you have it too. The more the better I say!!

Well, the only change I plan on making on the track car is the transaxle. Currently has a Turbo LSD. Putting in an S2 LSD, and going to swap 5th gears (Turbo has a shorter 5th than S2). Will have to add a little bit of ballast to get up to 2900 (currently 2625 empty).

Actually, that's not entirely true. Going to replace my Corbeau seat with a CObra Suzuka, replace the 5 point harness with a 6 point, and add a fire system. May install a detachable wheel hub but the cage Racer's Edge put in was so well done that ingress and egress are fantastic.

Oh yeah, thanks for teh compliments on the look of the car! Bittersweet, but that may change soon. Probably going to redo it with my company's logo and colors being prominent.

Good bit more planned on the street car, which I may occasionally DE.

I'm going try to stop making changes to my 944LS and just race it this year. I was reading all the brake mods with interest as I was very unhappy with my brake setup (hell, I couldn't even outbrake a viper at my last race
) So, I dropped my front master cylinder from 3/4 to 5/8 for this past weekend and I think I'm good to go. Pedal is almost as easy as before with a booster Current set up is 5/8 front and 3/4 rear, running turbo S calipers in front and turbo front calipers in rears (DTC 70's front / 60's rear).

My car has been repainted white to freshen it up. Looks good, but I don't have any decent pics yet, only a few of it on it's way to Oz. Will be giving it the stripe treatment and some colour highlights.

As I seem to be one of the few people having continual success with racing a supercharged car I will take it a step further now that I am out of the power to weight restricted categories of Dubai and do some more custom mods and tuning to push the power up and see how far I can go before the turbo or V8 virus hits!

Might have to drop the spring rates before I hit the bumpy Aussie tracks as well.

I'm hoping to do five or six weekends in 2012. Likely four at Mosport, one at Tremblant, and (potentially) one at Watkins Glen. I may also try to fly down and do an early February DE at Texas World Speedway, but I'll use a rental for that, obviously.

Nice... until at 10:59 the back end comes around under trail braking...

What diff are you running?

That viper was making himself as wide as he could knowing that you weren't gonna stick it in fully :-), and that he could out power you down the straights.

650f/750r, no rear bar. The car is great with that. I'm going to try a 750f/900r no rear bar and compare.
