Default FS: LR billet fuel rail and other associated parts

All parts sold, thank you RL.

Ended up with a few 'extras' after trying to figure out some issues with my car over the summer. I had it narrowed down to a fuel rail related issue and ended up trying a few different setups on the car to see what fixed the problem. The problem is solved so its time to get rid of the extras..

This billet rail from LR has probably 8 miles on it and about 1 hour total run time... so its basically brand new. It is the newer version with 4 mounting points also. I only used this fuel rail to verify that the problem was indeed fuel related.

Cost new is $280, selling for $225 + shipping via USPS.

The rail is currently setup for AN fittings, a -8 feed and -6 return. I will include a -6 fitting so you can use that for the feed if you wish.. i have a -8 on it because that is what my fuel lines are setup for. I have all the fittings / damper tightened down and angled correctly with fuel safe teflon tape, so all you really need to do is put your injectors in and bolt it down. This rail is a really nice part and very solid. I had some trouble deciding which billet rail to keep but ultimately decided on the other because that is what i setup the fuel lines on my car for originally.

I also have an Aeromotive adjustable FPR, this is the one setup for -6ORB fittings (o-ring boss) which i can include with the rail for $60. This part has maybe 100 miles on it, give or take. I only replaced it because i bought a second adjustable regulator (Fuel Lab) for test purposes. Ended up leaving the other regulator on the car so no longer need this.

Alternatively if you wish to keep your stock 2.5 or 3 bar regulator, i have an adapter so you can remote mount the regulator (see my pictures) and use the billet rail. I have a -6 male fitting on here that has a 1/8NPT port on it so you can run it with a fuel pressure gauge. I will include this with the rail for $25.

PayPal is ok, but you pay the fee's.

Basically all you need to do are make your own lines which is pretty simple. You need two metric hardline to AN adapter fittings, then a feed line (-6 to -6 or -8), a -6 jumper line from the rail outlet to regulator, then a -6 line from the regulator to return hardline. So in total you need probably about 3ft of -6 line, and 6x AN fittings.

Aeromotive regulator and saddle adapter for stock FPR

Here is the LR rail when i had it mounted on my car.. just to give you an idea of how to setup the fuel lines.

And here is the rail setup using the saddle adapter and stock style FPR (in this case the Bosch 3bar).

I don't mean to take this off topic, Jon. What was the problem with your lean spot?

V2, it is just a flat red powder coat. I was going for the Ferrari look.

DDP, the solution is leaving the stock fuel rail on the car. Not sure why but my car and the billet rails do not seem to agree with eachother. Trying the LR rail was a shot in the dark, but i wondered if the difference in size (-8 vs -6) and different damper would make a difference, but nothing. Stock rail is back on the car and no issues. I am keeping the CEP rail for the day i eventually figure out what is the problem. The damper issue with the CEP rail i initially had was looked like the smoking gun, but unfortunately it was not.

Lite, can you believe those were taken with my iPhone 4S? I doubt i will ever pick up my 3 year old 5mp camera ever again.

Van the coating on mine is actually not the wrinkle coat. I asked about having that done and it was considerably more from the local place i used. The color is just flat red.

Any takers on the rail for $200? Ill throw in the Aeromotive regulator in also for $250 total.

I stand corrected.

For those who are wondering, Jon is a stand up guy and will make the transaction a great experience.
