Oh, and yes on the Canards. Part of it is for aero and the other part is for strength. Bit of a combo. In my mind it is a starting point. Aero is as much if not more of a Black Art as suspension/chassis setup.
Were just starting off.
Yes guards and hood vents. We have to have mesh here for any screen facing vents, just wondering if yours came with mesh, if you fitting some, or dont have any...

I here you on the aero, Im just in the copy and hope phase of development!

Well, mostly a Mish Mash on the Mesh Mission. None so far. Will check regs. Car is literally just being finished this weekend. Event is on October 18-19th. http://www.worldtimeattack.com/ so we have time to address this.

Still waiting on the Tq and ign Sid. We're hoping to put together a new intake before the event. Am looking at Corleone's for inspiration and packaging. This turbo is pretty big so we have to work around it a little to get the stock intake to fit. Going with a re design with the centrally located entry should work pretty well I believe.

I think you'll be surprised at how well the factory intake works.

Regardless of which you choose in the end, you have a beast of a car.

Now, turn the boost down (way down) and go racing

I've not heard of many cars running over 500whp with factory intake Sid. We're definitely 'hitting' something at 6k. Be great to see the differences between this and the next one. Hopefully not too far away. Shall post...and yes, going to try and keep this one on the black stuff!

Seriously!! The bar is going to be raised again this year. There will be a stampede of cars running faster than Cup Cars and they'll be on R spec rubber. I am being very realistic about our levels of expectation. Just circulate and have some fun in our 1st year with this car. Trailer it home in one piece. Stand around it drinking beers and telling lies.

That is a lot of power and the car looks mean. All it needs a driver to warm it up a bit. Torque curve looks like it should roll into the power smoothly coming out of the corners.

Holly smokes! Now that's a come back and a half.

Can you even imagine what someone looking in there rear view mirror face would be seeing that brute closing in on them haha.

Can't wait to see some in car vids of the car on the track.

Nice job. Have fun.

Thanks guys...and thanks Adker for figuring that out.

Pauly, at the moment I've only got some crappy phone vids taken yesterday when the motor was cold and as it doesn't have an idle motor it sounds pretty lumpy...well lumpier than it will once warmed up. Should have some vids at speed by the middle of next week. (Sorry about newb vertical view on the vid) Select HD format to sharpen up the images.
