Both cars use an MSD 6AL-2 ignition box, this has the facility for a second rev-limit. It is triggered by the clutch-switch...
A FI car should adjust better than carb, but it still cannot make up for the loss in air pressure...

Three Wheelin'
MSD 6AL-2? I thought they were just for V8's. Those things are kinda big and a 951 engine bay is kinda packed! Do you mount on the inside?
FI does OK up here carbs were just hopeless and I never bothered to adjust them because I'd just have to change it again in a few days but yeah everything runs better at sea level.
Although...won't everything run better still in...Death valley? 282 ft below sea level!

Actually the 6AL-2 is the new one, and is smaller
It fits right in place of the factory cruise control module.

Race Car
I had so much fun last week I decided to go up again tonight. Was fun once again. I could actually bracket race this thing. I didn't really change anything other than a coolant line that was problematic.
It ran a best of 12.87 with a mph of high 112.
It ran in the 12.90's quite a few times and a few 13.00 runs. All mph were over 110 most in the 111's. The clutch just wouldn't do any better as the night went on so I couldn't improve Apon my best early run.
Time for a clutch and tires, first gear was useless.
Raced a GTR that ran a 12.70 @ 118 and a sprayed zo6 that ran a 11.4 @123
