Default Need help finding oiling solution

I recently picked up a used block and the PO removed the AOS. There is a freeze plug in the lower port and a threaded fitting in the upper port. I don't think I can reverse what has been done because part of the block has been ground down. Attaching an AOS will be tough with nothing to screw it into. Any ideas how I can make this work?

$4 pcv valve and a catch can?

for filling you could make a sort of neck with a 90* bend to that fitting. or just pour oil in through the cam tower plugs.

So a catch can with PCV would do it?

A line from the threaded fitting to catch can
A line from catch can to air intake just after MAF.
Where would the PCV go? In the line from threaded fitting to can or in the line from can to intake?

I don't mind filling from the cam housing ports.

Still looking for solutions on this...

So I can't use the stock air/oil separator. I understand that this can't just be a breather setup. I need to have vacuum in the crankcase. I would rather not plum the oil vapors back into the intake if possible but if it has to be that way then so be it.

I want to continue with this build but this oiling issue is holding me up.

Also what can be done with the turbo oil breather line? In the picture oil line #5 goes into the AOS for vent/vacuum. Where would it go now that I cant use the AOS?

You could either run it to a vented catch can, or to a sealed catchcan with plumbed to maf tube ahead of the turbo. Either will work fine. If you go vented run a -10 an line so there is plenty of volume.

Use a T in the hose to join the turbo line, the other end of the T to a catch can, catch can to j pipe in front if turbo, that is how my AOS delete is set up.

I temporarily have my AOS hose disconnected from everything (I don't have one long enough). Think this might cause problems in the long term? I don't get great vacuum, but I get enough and there are probably other leaks to be addressed. My car came with a vented oil filler cap with mesh on top (weird, right?) but it is released to the atmosphere anyway so I don't see how the AOS could be affected.

Sorry for the quick hijack OP

Thanks for the reply's guys!

David -- I made a quick diagram of how I see the connections. If I was to use a Saikou Michi can, or similar vacuum can, I would install like the diagram shows?
