Maybe if I just stuck some Porsche badges and called it an improved 944 I might like it better.......

Yes but sometimes performance transcends how a car appears! Look at the Panamera...if you can!

lol, you guys are entertaining..... ok well i realize that is a tall order. i will be good with 350ish hp if that helps....

i figure 300-350hp in 2900lb car is pretty fun and will be enjoyed... i will do an LS swap one day but not to this car, i will buy another and have fun with that. this one, i want to stay all Porsche.

thank you for all your input, now that i lowered the hp what do you guys think?? i pretty much want this car to run smooth and be responsive, i want more of a modern feel which is why im going with the m-tune and thinking coil packs....

They did a special "Stirling Moss" edition of the SLR, and my God is it ever hot.

Got no input on the coil packs but now your talking! 18 psi add the 80 lb (if yours are stock) I run the 55's but I want more head room for E 85. Exhaust upgrade, 3 bar FPR, Dual port waste gate, MBC, wideband 02 and you'll be a happy camper!

Well those will work it's what I have now I just wanna go bigger. The motor is not done at 170K just because of the miles. What you could do is a leak down test, and compression test if the numbers are good. A valve job, the rod bearings and the usual TB, rollers and WP. I'd also replace the bushings in the alternator and starter basically just freshen up the stuff that is subject to miles.
