Default Almost did it...

I was really tempted, but I knew it was a project I am not ready to dive into...especially for a street car.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/pts/2365982765.html

Bob Boyer is selling the widebody 968 front end he used to have on his car.

It would require me to chop too much off the front end though for a street car. And I've have to get some flares for the rear too.
Went over to his house today to check it out and got to see his car.....absolutely AMAZING!

For $250 that would be cool to have, if you use it on a car or just wall art !

Yeah, I thought of that too. If I just had a bit more space in the garage and wasn't planning on moving in a few months...

LOL... ^^^^^^^^ What he said.. No ****. Good god no ****.. I just paid $500 for the retardedly out dated piece of **** GT racing front bumper that doesn't include a freakin front air damn.. .. Ugh. ... ugh.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

THAT SAID>>>>>>..... Dialing........

(Edit) .... Sold.. Im buying it.. ALXDGR8.. Thank you for posting and stating you weren't going to buy it. That's sincere. It truly was nice of you to share it with someone who might be able to take use of it. It is going on my full race car.. I'm currently building the front tube frame right now and its the perfect time to fit it in. It is CLEARLY not for any street car. there is so much that would be wasted if you tried to put it on a street car. There's some damage and reinforcements need to be made, but as most of you know, that is a clear ZERO on the concerns list for me. I'll be driving up to pick it up soon.. I need a short vacation anyway.. I always enjoyed that drive.

I will still have the GT racing front end. front bumper, fenders, and carbon hood.

Oh hell yeah.. I truly enjoy that drive. I might stop off in Hood river, OR. on the way back to visit a friend. And, if the schedule gets too crazy, I have a friend who gets large things shipped For a living. I'll pay that shipping no problem. Totally worth it for that piece.

Sid, it looks like Colorado might be a good stopping point.. I might take you up on that.. Not really because I need a place to crash, but because I'd love to see your cars! I'll let you know. I might get talked out of it by my old lady, so... I'll work on the logistics of shipping right now too. I DO.. however, love to take road trips. EDIT.. just did the math on Gas cost using my oh so inefficient Dodge Hemi Truck... close to $1000 in gas.. ROFL.. ok ok.. I might need to ship it.. It's been a few years since I've taken a long road trip, and gas wasn't a big concern then.... How times change. Jan. '09 was around $1.60/Gallon.... Did you know in 1998 gas was as low as $0.80/gal. ?

I'm 2 minutes off the highway, so an easy stopping point. Seeing the cars may be dissapointing considering where they are at. it would be great to meet. I should have plenty of room unless you come after I move in a month or two. Even after I would have room, just not such a nice house .

Sid, I Don't think anyone would be dis-appointed. It would be great to meet you.. No Doubt.. I did just do the math on the Gasoline cost. Crazyness. I will now concentrate on just getting it shipped.

Yeah gas prices have changed how we have been traveling to my sons races too. Used to drive to most, now flying is less expensive.

Well done Bruce. For that price I was considering winding the widows up and driving to get it!!

Wonder what he's going to substitute it with?
