Could be wrong, but it's just something I remember off the top of my head from the many leather interior threads in the past. I'll have to look back through some of them.

 

FWIW, they may have stopped offering it after '86 due to the airbags. The cars I am recalling were both '86's.

 

I would really like to see that! If they did offer it I would like see the pattern.

Holy crap leather was that expensive! Mine has full leather to I thought they all came that way? My 85.5 is full leather also..it's seen better days though.
Both mine have the sun roofs...personally that's $891 bucks i'd have saved both sun roofs are PITA!

It was $4,190 1992 dollars on my 968 and my car is a cab and doesn't have any leather in the rear!!!

 

I'm the father-in-law mentioned previously. My track car had full leather including the lower dash, console and rear seats and some of the trim around the top of the cabin. The top of the dash is not leather. I have most of what I took out stored away. Door panels are sill in the car as is the lower dash and console. The option code sticker in the rear of the car was missing when I bought it. Interior was black.
