Just Ordered A-Tune
#61
Thanks for the Input Josh. We have e-mailed back and fourth a few times.
I hope the M-tune is coming along. I will just by the whole ball of wax from you. Injectors, sensors, plumbing, and whatever else. Really look forward to it.
My old stuff will be up for sale if anyone is interested. I am sure someone could get it to work well with the right emulator or something. I will sell it for very cheap.
Hey Josh, are you going to produce side rockers also? Hmm.

No side rockers production.
The M-Tune will support larger injectors no problem. On my own 951, I use our high-Z 80lb/hr injectors without problem.
The A-Tune larger injectors are possible, but not recommended. This is due to the inconsistencies between stock AFMs (overlay here)

Got the AFM, J-Boot, and stock air box installed this weekend. My car is now pretty much all stock except a test pipe and MBC. Just waiting on 3 bar FPR to arrive from Paragon. Rouge shipped my A-Tune Friday so it should arrive in a couple days. If all goes well, I will go to the dyno Thursday night and I will then post the results.

Today at the dyno we compared the other guys setup to the A-tune. Definitely spools faster. I can't remember the exact numbers but the a-tune definitely spools much faster and the power is similar. My intake was also very heat soaked when we did the A-tune.

Porschephile,
I am really looking forward to testing the setup. I spent a lot of time trying to get my MAF and PB "right" and I really never was happy with it.
BTW: grew up in Colorado, Ft. Morgan to be exact. Went to school at CSU. Still a big Bronco fan.

Your car is gorgeous, and that engine bay looks really clean! I dig!

Came home today and had a package from Rogue Tuning, my A-Tune!
Modified DME and Installed Chip Board
Installed the MAP sensor, View 1
Installed the MAP sensor, View 2
Whole thing took about 2.5 hrs. Most of the time was getting the MAP sensor wires routed through to the DME.
I am just waiting on a 3 bar FPR that will arrive tomorrow and then I can fire it up. Still looking good for dyno Thursday night.

Congrats! install looks clean, that's exactly where my MAP sensor is mounted! You'll be more than pleased! report back with your initial thoughts and your dyno numbers!

From what I'm hearing, it might be a good idea for anyone to has a 3bar regulator to verify the pressure is indeed 3 bar.
Sounds like a bunch of them have the 3.8bar spring in them.
