Stopping the cylinders moving has to be a good start Thom, plus increasing the size of the rod bolts to assist in clamping force can't hurt. Having said that, there are enough guys running over 18psi regularly on stock internals. Guess in the end it's always going to come down to trial and error unfortunately. Now with your standalone and J&S you have a lot of safety available. Should prove interesting and invaluable.

Now i need only the perfect turbo I think about the GT35 or the Turbonetics gtk650.

Late spooling hmmm...Look at the charts here.
Do not buy a GTK650 for a 3.0 car.

It's laggy as hell, and doesn't provide full boost on a well sorted 3.0 till about 4500RPM. We did see 530whp, but midrange sucked. We even installed a smaller hotside.

We are now using a Precision Billett 6262 with a .58 hotside and a few other mods done by Precision for this motor. This turbo begins to spool at tip of throttle and has full boost by around 3500RPM. Things happen pretty fast, so we won't know for sure till we have some dyno time.

We are installing another transmission, and we'll be tuning again next week. During static tuning, holding a steady 3K RPM and letting off the BOV opened every time. This was with no load in neutral.

When you say full boost at 3500rpm, what gear is that in and what psi?

I assume 4 th gear 16-18 psi but George will address that

you should give this Precision turbo a consideration, billet wheel, should bolt to the stock mount, need oil drain and downpipe/crossover mod. You also could go down to a 58 series If you want instaspool.

It was third gear. This was the first boost run while tuning so we have a ways to go. These turbos are very well done.

Can you tell me what happen? Did you go to the dyno? How is the turbo working? How many PSI? What RPM you got full PSI boost?
I'm trying to decide between a Precision 6262 or 5862 for 3.0 lt engine.
Thanks,

This is OT, but hey blanco... Get some clear side markers and hand me the keys and you're done! Nice ride!

I did change the clear side markers once, but did not work like the factory one.
Thanks,
