The EFR turbo's are huuge. Definately not possible to mount without custom mounting, downpipe and crossover. Since the EFR have inbuilt wastegate the turbine housing is much, much longer. You would have to change everything.
Edit: Sorry forgot the EFR is available without internal WG, but it's still a very large physical turbo.
This is how it looks with wg:

Wow, they sure are long! Assuming the shape of the hot house is meant to be part of the improvements?

I agree Thom. I have a very modified 3L with all the supporting parts and still have doubts on the GTX3582. I have been waiting for my Tial hotside and my doubt keeps growing more and more. That said, a few people have used the GT3582 with the 3L and have been happy with the performance. I hope to get more info on the EFR as that sounds like its a good match.

Seriously though, boost level is an extremely important part of the equation when selecting a turbo.
I feel a GTX3582R could be beneficial for my engine if I were to raise the boost to say 20 psi. Most 951 builds tend to run around 15-18 psi with a low rpm limit so a GT3582R might be too large for someone that prioritizes midrange instead of top end.

I would go with a gt37r pick the a/r for you liking on a 3.0 I think it is not too big.
Need to know a few things where is your redine?
What do you have done to the 8 v head ?

I reckon one of the new GTX30s on a 3L would be very interesting with 25psi and E85!!!
