Bolts are all torqued.. she is about ready to rock and roll..
And yes the cheeseheads should be partying like its 1999!
I have yet to strip out a cheesehead fastener, but dont feel like pressing my luck any longer, next time, they will be swapped for a better fastener!

Karl is stopping here in the morning!
WOO HOO she will ride tomorrow!
I started yesterday afternoon like this:
and ended today like this:
Axles are in, and hardware is snugged up, should take me about 30 minutes tomorrow morning, then off to an alignment, and then to run the roads again!
Completed:
Rear wheel bearing replacement
new trans mount
fuel pickup replaced
(everything from here down has been installed since yesterday afternoon)
fuel filter replaced
head gasket replaced
head rebuilt (IMA Motorsport)
Cam tower reseal/rebuilt
full front end reseal
new trans output shaft seals
new sway bar bushings
rebuilt power steering rack
rebuilt power steering lines
new timing belt
new BS belt
replaced lower BS front carrier (previous damage to PS pump mount)
NEW injectors
new tie rod ends
It was torn apart 10 January, and will ride tomorrow!

And I replaced them with stainless allen head bolts.
I currently have the Stage 8's on the outside of my car, and the inside ones are safety wired (did that before the group buy thing came out, so I just left them). I'll probably switch to Stage 8's when I put in the LSD I just bought.

Could you please post a link to Stage 8's? I have no idea what these are, but my next project is to install a Guards LSD (though I'll have a race shop do this one for me). I had purchased a complete set of replacement axle bolts from Paragon, but it sounds like I shouldn't use these...

This probably doesn't apply here, but if the car is going to be driven a lot, particularly in the weather, Allen head fasteners can be bad. Prior toy (and Merkur owners aren't anything like Porsche owners in what they'll expose their car to) had them, and they were notorious for stripping. I had to use a stud extractor every time I removed an axle. These cheesehead 3 square things are much better for being able to grip the fastener.
Where can you get external 12 point headed bolts, and are they even available in a size and thread to match our CVs? I quite like those things, but almost never see them.

Agreed, I've never met an Allen head bolt that didn't want to strip. I hate the things with a passion. Triple-square isn't the best, but just looking at an Allen head bolt will remind you why it's everything bad about triple square and worse.

Outstanding getting that much done in a day! My program was more of a "wait 4 days on this part, then wait 4 days on this tool, then wait 4 days on that part" type of a deal.
I'm impressed that in the marathon session there weren't more items you forgot to order!
Hope the rest of the month goes much smoother for you.

One thing to note with the stage8 bolts, make sure the bolts you receive are the same length as your stock ones. I figured out the hard way that mine were too long.. about 1/4" longer than stock and when I tightened everything up they were hitting the inside of the upright. Ended up having to grind them down to the correct length.
