Default Just had back surgery!!

Hey,
Just got home yesterday from the hospital. Had a spinal fusion done...UPS broke me. I missed all my 951 people and topics. It takes my mind off my hurt back. Ready to order some new goodies for my 89' 951 soon. Take care, Mike

Join the club, got cut open August '05 to remove a broken disc. Surgeon was very against fusing me and didn't do it.

No pain since!

Congrats, hope you have a quick recovery! Glad to hear some success stories.

Im having major back problems @ age 31 (fractured lower disc)- seems to re-injure every few years, usually lasts a few days - this current episode is about 2 months in and was totally immobilizing for about 2 weeks. Bone scan next - back pain SUCKS...

I hope you have a quick recovery. I just busted my *** this morning on my driveway thanks to the F****** ice that I was too lazy to scrape last night. Another lesson learned.

Hi Mike, Hope you get better soon, but don't rush over doing it. Sure wish I had had my lower L4 & L5 fused. All the doc did was trim the bulged disks. This was back in 85 and have been in pain ever since. I found out too late that a lot of his patients are in the same shape I'm in. Best of luck in your recovery.

Cheers,
Larry

Make sure you follow the docs instructions to the letter and don't rush things. I am a four time surgery patient and well versed in what you are going through. Best of luck!
