You know something... even that little 3.2 Audi engined Cayenne is quicker than any 928 I ever drove.
Seriously.
Is that just because the Cayenne weighs 1000 LBS less than the 928??
Yes, you are right the Cayenne feels way faster and it definitively handles better than any 928.
3.1 - 3.2l sleeved, 16 valve, aggressive cams, solid lifter, dry sump, big turbo (lowest possible back pressure), exhaust, big IC and TB, stand alone engine management, e85, power peak 7,500 - 8,000 RPM at a little over 20 psi boost;
and your there
$50,000 I'm guessing
hmm i think you may have missed a few exotic expensive points there tommy like deck plate steel girdle block groat.
and i think it would require more than 8000rpm but I'd say the budget (if can call it that) is correct
so 350US rwhp sends listers into the 13's. then 400 sends them into the 12's then 600 sends them into the 16's. im guessing this 700 will be well into the 20's, maybe with the help of Nos we may see low 20's. all in good fun

8000 rpm should not be needed, at least not with the right amount of boost
With new headers (being built), a GT4094R and 30 psi on E85 700 rwhp should be possible at ca 7000-7200 rpm with my engine.
If we can get 100 guys to pitch in $200 each I will find out for the cause of Rennlist
