The top photo looks like you missed the entrance to the old Batcave!

Bummer!

know the feeling man...happened to me in my 87S. took a turn too fast in early spring and hit some loose gravel on the inside of a medium left and the *** got squirmy on me and ended up going through a hay field and 10 feet into a corn field before i stropped. narrowly missed a telephone pole when i left the road. sure did play hell on my alignment though.

Glad to see your alright. i know i was a little shaken up with mine a few years back.

Yep, You have to watch out for the DEER jumping out in front of you. Happy to hear the only thing hurt was your pride. A car can always be repaired.

Cheers,
Larry

Holy crap! You must have been running slicks to have gone that far sideways in the grass without flipping.

Damn. Glad you're ok. Are you going to have it fixed? I'd probably do a re-tub.

Glad to hear you're OK.

You covered some serious distance with that slide.

Yes...very lucky indeed. If you're gonna lose control and slide sideways into the bushes, I discovered the best way to do it.

Waiting on insurance company to determine the fate of the car. I hope it's fixable.

I don't think that will be totalled. About 5k worth of damage if I had to guess. Be thankful you are ok and learned the lesson of "Always have better tires on the back than on the front" (Don't ask me how I learned that one myself.....) - It's a beautiful car, good luck and glad that you're ok.

Just got the estimate back from the body shop - $10,272. Wow!

This would be a total loss with most insurance companies/policies. I won't know until tomorrow if my insurance carrier will approve the work, but based on my policy I have no reason to suspect they won't. Hard to believe I caused that much damage. But, it will be worth every penny to repair!!

Glad to hear you think it'll be covered.

Your latest update reminds me I need to get my latest stack of receipts over to my agent so my policy can be updated.

I'm not surprised. The quote to put mine back the way it was, was similar. Thankgod for agreed value policies and owners who do their due diligence with paper work. You will get her sorted and back on the road soon enough. Glad to hear you made it out okay and the car is going to come back to life.
