NO NO NO NO.....AWWW S#@T!!!! (EDIT: CAR IS TOTALED)
This is exactly what went through my head as I mowed down 40 feet of bushes and mangroves with my 951 yesterday. Not my best moment. Doesn't look like I'll be selling the car any time soon now: (https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=51048).
I didn't realize how bald the rear tires were, and I took a left hand corner a little too fast (admittedly). Once the *** swung around, I couldn't catch it again. Thankfully, a sturdy tree arrested my momentum (quite abruptly) about 4 feet before the water. This happened near home, and a neighbor was nice enough to yank me out of the bushes, after which I drove the car home.
I'm thankful that I wasn't hurt and that no other cars were around. The damage looks mostly cosmetic, but it's hard to tell without a professional inspection/estimate. Amazingly, the undercarriage didn't sustain any visible damage (no bent axles or suspension components, not leaking any fluids). I still can't believe I didn't blow a tire in the process. I have the car insured to $15k, so I hope it's not totaled. For a 25 year old car, it appears to have held up well and definitely protected me from injury, as only my pride is bruised.
I am ready for some good karma, damn't. If anybody has any extra, please send it my way.

Ouch! Glad to hear you are OK!!!!!!! If you end up wanting to fix it, and your spoiler is damaged, I have one that is in good shape, it would just need to be painted and I can get it to you for cheap. Let me know. These cars are well built and quite a few people have walked away from crashes.

Such a beautiful car. I had about the same fate almost three years ago in my very nice S2. Just fix it. Insurance will total that car out (I would imagine). Buy back should be cheap though. Make sure when they appraise the car to point out all non-stock items, especially the hatch.
Glad you're ok. I know exactly what was going through your mind and out your mouth though. My *** slid out on me and I gave a heroic effort to keep it on the center line. Thankfuly it didn't stay there as I would have been hit head on!

Ouch
Sh*t happens sometimes, even to the best of us. I've had my share of "oh SH*T!!!" moments myself.
That sure looks fixable to me. I wouldn't sweat it. It's a good thing that wacky deer that jumped out in front of you (you know, the deer that caused you to swerve out of control) didn't actually impact your car or it would have been a lot worse.
Yes. I said the deer that jumped out in front of you.

Anyone else find it a little odd that given his clear path he took (sliding exactly sideways), that the car didn't catch and roll? I'd consider yourself VERY lucky!
