Freinds - I need your help.
I am a purist and like my 944 turbo to look like Dr Ferdinand wanted it to.
When i bought my early (1986) 944 turbo the car had lost its original Teledials and is wearing a set of Milla Miglia 17" Turbo twist style wheels.
I like the look of these wheels, but deep down i know that the factory would not have ever released my car looking like that.
So i purchased a set of 944 turbo teledials with the correct ET23 offset for a reasonable sum from UK Ebay. I would have liked Fuchs, but these are well above my price range.
Now i am unsure if these will make my car look really old and less aggressive looking?
I really like the way this car is looking:

Are these standard 16" turbo teledials? What tyres is this car using and has the suspension been changed?
Is there any love for Teledials and how should i finish these as i have seen some with black centres - but that wouldnt be how the factory finished them![order](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/order.gif)
Help me please - any pictures of turbos with teledials will help.....

It's a good thing you have an '86. The early offset looks better for the phone dials, especially the rears.
Here's my '86 with 225/50 front and 245/45 rear tires.

That is my car in the second pic and the wheels are 16 X 8's all around. Form the factory they came with 7's up front. The tire size is 225/50's in the front and 245/45's in the rear.
The wheels have been powder coated with satin clear which gives them a super nice finish. And the car has been been lowered to give it the stance shown.
Here are some more pictures of the car and wheels. If you would like more info feel free to PM me and I can take more pictures if needed.
Alex
P.S. Sorry for the big images.

I like em. No spacers, no studs, light. Lister's wont stand for that!
K26/6's go 150K or more without a rebuild, but that's unacceptable! We must replace them with the turbo of the month, then raise hell when they're blowing oil in 2K miles.
We must also replace almost every component with non-Porsche stuff, then defend not buying a vette by bragging about the Porsche handling.
Long live phonedials!

I like phonedials. The only thing I don't like is the increasingly limited options in 16" tyres...
Twists are also a classic look though. I think they suit these cars very well, even if they were never released that way.

With all the love,
I have a set of early offset from 86 944 turbo, that is PC satin black, never mounted tires since coating. I was going to use on the track but they won't fit over the big blacks.
If any interest Please PM me.
Steve
