I just had a PM about these and it reminded me of this thread. So it's time for another update. Headers are still holding together and have been put through another season of autocrosses and street driving and one open track day.

How are the rest of the guinea pigs doing with theirs?

I had a PM about them as well, probably from the same guy.

5 autox, 1 lapping day and 6 time attacks last season.

4 autox, 1 lapping day and 7 time attacks so far this season.

They're still holding up fine.

Nice to see with some time and research you don't have to empty your bank account for parts.

Sometimes this board is full of posts that think top dollar or crazy dollars have to be spent to get what you want.

Great thread!

I have had mine on the racecar for a year now and no problems whatsoever. I was impressed with the build quality.

I've been reading this thread from the beginning, it's a great thread. I need a set of headers for the track car and based on people's reports, I'm going to buy the obx as well. Thanks guys!

My OBX headers are done. I only used the headers, not the down pipe or waste gate tie in that comes with the kit. This is after 2 seasons, approximately 30 events, and the street driving to-and-from, and this is the result, leak on one exit:

Major cracking along the line of welds on another exit:

I knew about the leak, I could here when it happened at the 2nd last event of the season. The cracked welds were news to me.

Maybe the OBX headers would last better for street use, who knows.

Any thoughts on what I should do next? $300 for another 2 seasons, or Lindsey Racing for more money and hopefully more time?

Thats a shame but slightly expected. The crack looks bad.
