Anyone in Phoenix want to check out a 951 for me?
Seriously looking at this car, but I'm all the way on the east coast. Anyone interested in having a looksee for me?

I've ALWAYS lusted after the 944 Turbo, and truth be told almost purchased at least 5 times but for some reason held back. I think the time may be here. This one looks like a gorgeous example. 45k miles, one owner, all service and documentation as well as the original window sticker. Seems like a pretty good price too.

I'll see if I can look him up. Is that the name of the forum, the "pelican"? Forgive my ignorance, just not that familiar with the various porsche forums.

No need to contact anyone. That car is was owned by AZ SteveO (a month ago) on rennlist and he sold it to Alan who is making a few bucks off it. I don't know Alan at all but knew the last owner very well. I've done virtually all of the work on that car since Steve got it (except the AC) and it is probably the cleanest example I've ever seen (outside of CNC Kevin's car). When I did the leakdown on that car is was under 3% on all cylinders. Steve was the second owner. The original owner was a very rich snow bird who rarely ever drove it. He sold it (with 33K I believe) because he was buying a Ferrari or Lambo. Steve bought it also drove it pretty infrequently. I have the original Phone Dials in in my shed if you buy the car and want to pick them up. Drop me an e-mail if you have any specific Q's.

Oh yeah...... the car should also have a tial 38mm WG on it, it has upgraded fuel lines, the gauges and MAF wires were all properly soldered, and you can still see the factory cosmoline markings on the bolts underneath. I would love to see this car go to a good home that will take exceptional care of it.
I considered buying it for my wife to drive.

Update: I spoke with Alan at Arizona Muscle, and the car will be receiving a PPI and leakdown tomorrow at Don Jackson Enterprises in Phoenix. I'll post back with the results of the PPI.

I took my car to Don Jackson for an alignment(only because Jeremy was busy) and it took them two day to get it done right. The guys at Don's shop are 911 specialists, not 951 specialists. Don could have that car for a week and would not know as much as Jeremy does about it.

Clean looking car. Hope it goes to a good home. Conincidentally, I saw this car on eBay this past weekend.
Brian - If you end up buying it, maybe we can organize a meet up in VA after all said and done as I'd like to see it in person.
