Default 951 vs ISF, 335i, evo x (gt30r), and others

Just some fun runs.
Mods on cars:
951 - t4 50 trim from SFR (stage 1) @ ~23 psi, 75# injectors, 3" catless exhaust, mbc, 3 bar fpr, LR maf with mafterburner, and a LR chipset for almost stock. I was running under a quarter tank of 93 octane (maybe 5 gallons?) and 3 gallons xylene (117 octane)

ISF - intake and exhaust only
335i - full bolts on and tune (stock turbos)
evo x - gt30r kit, no idea which one but he was spiking at 29 psi supposedly.
white evo 9 - full bolts on and tune. stock turbo, and stock cams I believe.
evo mr - no idea, probably full bolt ons and cam, maybe e85. (pretty common here)

Basically, from a roll I pretty much destroyed everything but the evo x with the gt30r. I didn't pass him until third gear when he shifted into 4th I believe.
I didn't brake boost versus him since I didn't know he had a bigger turbo at the time. I imagine had I brake boosted it would have been me ahead even sooner as I do have some turbo lag even in second gear at 4k rpm.
My car pulled very strong that night, more so than it ever has before. I was able to hit 160 very quickly though I imagine because I'm sure I suffered boost creep being in such a high gear. That is the only time I've ever gotten on it in 5th gear and probably won't do it again to be quite frank.

The ISF was honestly not even a fair race, nor was the evo 9 with bolt ons. I didn't get a clean race versus the 335i, but I was able to catch up and pass from almost 4 cars back when he got on it versus the evo 9 and evo 9 mr.
Overall very fun, very immature, dangerous, blah blah, it was fun.

If I get better video I'll post it. The only video is of me passing the 335i from way back, and another where the 335i and evo 9 mr are behind me in second gear and get on it, I floor it right as they get to me and I play catch up.

makes me love these "old" cars even more... personally, I don't think the ISF had even the slightest chance but, oh well, for him that is.

I don't normally race people ever but I thought it was crazy that my 951 beat an old but very nice Lambo Countach from 60 to 120.

Yep. Known to a few around here...
The best part is the Ferrari owner is a friend of one of my friends - so the story got back to me from the Ferrari's perspective

I had a simulated run with an Enzo a few years back and I didn't even know what it was at the time other than it was a bright red ferrari. I just got my K27/8 installed a couple of months before and was breaking it in. So one day coming back home from work, I noticed it was coming up on my left real fast, then slowed down next to me, blipped the throttle twice and took off. I was like, wth?! and took of after it. Maxed out in 4th then to 5th but I could real him in but later found out that it was a 630hp V12 race car for the street. Needless to say, I called my shop the next day and told them that the turbo is broken in now and can we make more powah w/ my set up.

Post some videos! A friend of mine has a new 335XI with down pipes, tune, exhaust and mbc, he has me from a dig but I take him from a roll.

having witnessed a 750HP 997T pulling away from an Enzo ever so slightly, I can tell you that they are fast in a different league.

Gotta love that 951. I ran with a built corvette and a turbocharged mustang. It was dead even. That was me on 17psi and 93 octane. Now I'm on 23 and 110. I live in a tiny east texas town, so everyone here seems to have the mindset that "my diesel truck with stacks that blacksmokes every elderly woman walking down the street, is faster than that little car". It's fun to make them eat their words.

Ugh, man...nothing i hate more than diesel drivers with an attitude. They seem to think that because their truck could run a 15-second quarter it's "fast" or "sporty" (which, for a truck, it is....but in the real world? not even close. get a clue!).

A guy with a v10 excursion was pressuring me to race for money at the drag strip, I accepted as soon as he put a dollar amount on the race. He could have 1000hp and not keep up. Needless to say, his modified "700 crank hp" 9000lb suv didn't stand a chance.

I know. It's annoying. Even after you spank them, they say... "ok, lets go to a mudbog and see who wins there". Really dude? I wouldnt take my car in dirt, let alone a mudpit. Then they ramble on about all these "mods" they have... (mud tires, a lift, and a 10" exhaust tip that they welded on) Bugs me to no end...
