Header Panel Ideas

One thing to think about with adding a second vent in the header panel to feed the IC, will it disrupt the other inlet? Also, ducting is most important when it comes to cooling. Are you going to cut and modify the factory duct to allow for the new additional inlet? These are all things to consider. Not to mention how the extra inlet ruins or doesn't run the look of the car. Personal preference there, though.

Didn't the post start saying he had a "spare" nose panel?? so its not about the effectiveness and weather to do it or not .
the thread is about what kind of hole ...
hitting it with a hole saw has that kind mean industrial look but the other one i like was 3 not 4 931 I think it looks good as it's the same width as the opening in the bumper

Looks like the diagrams were not saved so here they are again. I wish they would stop deleting pictures from posts.
Post from Matt, lots more in the thread.

Is there a four hole version of these plans available anywhere?
Im really liking the stock look of a 941 (924 turbo) style front grill. In the UK we are struggling to find the plastic inserts to go behind the holes.

Plastic inserts are not available from the factory any more. You have to scout around and find someone selling a 931 header panel Ray. Then you have to get someone to customise a 944 panel as the 931 doesn't fit. I like the look also.

Here's a picture of one I inherited. Its the stock steel one, cut, and then an aluminum/stainless steel grill. I have the liner for it also, suitably cut.
For sale if anyone is interested.

Sorry, I have been away from my computer all weekend and haven't checked this until now lol. The nose panel would be purely aesthetic. I still have the stock IC, so yes, the factory ducting is the best bet. The car is pure street car, no track time. I have a LR Stage V header panel, but it has no headlight cut outs, and I dont want to butcher it up and it end up not looking good.
