braided lines
I am going to put something to protect the lines, but have not decided the routing just yet. Thanks for the heads up on that I will add it to my list.

Rad stuff.
Hi Chris how are you?
Thanks for the info on the oil line. I will make the change today. I do have the larger pulley though so if I run into any issues I will let you know.
I used 2 different rad lines the silicone blue which was too large diameter because of the big pulley. In the end 944 106 237 05 is the hose that fits with 1 inch trimmed off.
Thanks for the advice on the Evans. I will be extra careful when pouring. I'll probably bring some pig blankets from work so if anything spills it won't touch the car
Thanks again

A couple of notes –
The lower radiator hose needs to be trimmed shorter by about 1” to make up for the extra thickness of the radiator – it will sit better that way.
The oil line is supposed to go on the outside of the lower radiator hose – that way it will not kink.
When you add the Evans coolant make sure you don’t spill or leak any on the engine – the free air boiling point is so high that it will never boil or evaporate – and you will smell hot coolant forever!
Looks pretty nice!

Hp numbers
Someone with a similar build to me had 458 hp according to the post on RL. I have a few more things done to mine compared that particular 3.0L build though.
I hope to run between 425 and 450 using moderate boost but we will see what tuning does.

He is from Canada - to them a heat wave is 20 degrees...
You really don't 'need' two fans to cool the system with a larger radiator. In fact once you are over 25mph you don't need any fans. Most of the cooling problems that 944s face are due to 20+ year old radiators.
If you live way down south the second fan does come in handy in the summer when stuck in traffic!

Started my Car for the first time last night. Lots going on so it took me longer than I hoped to get it back together. Broke in the solid lifter for 30 minutes. Ran well.
Exhaust sounds great and I'm using a Kevlar timing belt
