I had my headers coated by Jet Hot a few years ago, and I have not seen any flaking or cracking at the accordian. I wondered too, but it seems fine. Your engine bay and parts look very sharp!

Awesome photos and beautiful car/parts. Do you have a before shot of your engine bay? I will be doing the same and mine is filthy...would like to see some before to see just how good the cleaner you used is.

I will post some tomorrow. The power steering res leaked all over one side and sat for a long time with Original owner. Also there was some blow by coming out of the J-boot on the other side that stuck all over the side of the fender well.
Oil seals and gaskets were a little leaky to. So a bit of a mess but it's spotless now

NICE! I just posted the down and dirty version of my race car rebuild which was inspired by your little project. The finish on your parts is outstanding. It is so much easier using nice clean parts. Great job, you are an **** SOB. It was an inspiration to work just a bit harder on my rebuild.

Thanks for the photos.

http://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/AOS1UP.html

That shows the tank upgrade for running the external catch can.

Glad I could inspire you Disaterman.
Since owning my first 951 in 1993 I have wanted to do a full restore and street performance 951. Have the money to do it now

Great time to buy a second one also

The car needed cleaning really badly since it sat since 1999. I'm the second owner. Car only had 44000 kilometers when I found it but it was pretty dusty
