Not bad.
Low, that's funny. The one we use down here locally known as the heartbreaker and we don't use it in 'Shootout' mode. So this tells you actually what you have, not what you want to read. So 350whp US will probably read 290whp for us. Car goes just as fast though.

That's why we need more acceleration numbers, they tell the truth..

Its nice to see some more good projects on Rennlist again! I thought things were getting pretty quiet here on the ‘technical’ side – and now lots of good results showing up!

Yeah, 15-17 psi is a nice ‘sweet spot’ for a track car. Less heat soak and less stress.
Maybe you can get the customer interested in your drysump set up – get a few more ‘free’ HP’s and better oiling!

Mike (or Dave) – what’s the other trace on the graph? Low boost run?

Looking forward to shutting the hood on this build. We are on the downslope of finishing this up.

Mike,

I see that it has a stage III head. Is it a modified Turbo head or the 89 2.7 NA head? I have a 2.7 head that I was planning on using for a 3l 968 build, but never got around to it. The 3.0 8v is a clean and easy upgrade, and your curve shows what great results you can get with modest boost.

Sam, it's a 951 head. This customer could of spent a lot more money and added other
bits and pices, but he wanted good power and low boost. He sure has that.
