What's the Difference between a K27-7006 vs K27-7200
I have a K27-6 that has a K27-7006 cold side. Was the 7006 made for the 911 TurboS? Is the 7200 better than the 7006? Will this turbo create a lot of pressure on the cross over pipe?
Thanks
Thanks

Manny,
What you are referring to is the compressor. The compressor has nothing to do with the pressure in the cross over pipe. Only the turbine will affect the pressure in the cross over pipe.
No I don't know the difference between the two compressors. I do know that I had the 7200 on my car and it's quite capable of making 335RWHP on a stock 951 motor with the usual bolt-ons.

Thanks guys.
Tony I'm debating if I should rebuild this turbo or if I should wait and get a better one later. If I got over 300rwhp It would be more than Happy since it's street driven.
Does anyone still run the K27/6, and it's happy with it in today standards.

Street car. With the K27/6 my car made 255rwhp unccorrected. Corrected it made 335rwhp (which I dont believe). I think a well tuned K27/6 is good for about 300rwhp with a MAF. I just want a 100hp more and the K27/6 wont get me there.
I haven't 100% decided if I will have the K27/6 changed to a K27/8 or a Vitesse turbo. Leaning (strongly) towards Vitesse.

I also need to mention that I have a complete Vitesse MAF/VFlex/Piggyback/83lb injectors going on the car as I type (I am having a shop do it as I have no time with my work travel schedule). So, that extra bit of power isn't cheap.
I think the K27/6 is a pretty good bang for the buck. As other have stated. The first 50 additional horsepower is cheaper than the next...and so on and so on.

As stated on the invoice from Powerhaus, my turbo is a K27/6-7200 w/light weight rotor assembly. As much as I'd like to get a VR Stage II or III, I'm very
satisfied with the performance of the car.
The dyno run below was done BEFORE Lindsey Stage III head work, VR chipboard,
EBC and the head gasket was on it's way out. 19lbs of boost with 100 octane.

I ran a K27/8 with 7006 compressor wheel and made 315 rwhp at just over 1 bar. Great power up top but kind of laggy when not spooling compared to my current setup.
