Default double-up

yeah you can use Tilton or Wilwoods. I like the anodized wilwoods. I had to buy the Tilton 72-650 for the housing. It positions the MC's to clear everything on the V8.
You actually loose a few pounds getting rid of that large Vacuum booster. I don't like Hydroboost, way too many leaky lines running everywhere and the electric stuff.....fogettaboutit.
I will eventually do ITB's but I'm a home-brew kinda guy. Busa ITB's are cheap and they work. Just alot of fabbing to do

Just looking at the pics above though.. the exhaust header is ridiculously close to the bottom master cylinder. (use that as rear cylinder in the very least?!) I would wrap the header and use a piece of metal as a shield.

Im keeping the master cylinders inside the firewall. Curious why you didn't go that route since you've completely changed over and needed the engine bay space?
super stiff? or squishy?

Depends on how yours is set up., but stiff and response is very quick in the ones I've driven.. (Mine has yet to be finished) Modulation was difficult at first, but I got used to it quickly

That set up with ABS is my ultimate goal.. yes..

To the point where I was pissing the owner off by flat spotting the hell out of the tires.? No, I started carefully, but could have easily screwed up like that. I kept stopping too fast in the pits.. It looked like I was just learning to drive a car.. funny and embarrassing at the same time.

You can still set up your brakes to react to your specific needs/tastes.. With valves and biasing, you can make the brakes react just about anyway you want.

all Extrudabody ITB's come with Injector holes drilled, but Block Off's are Available according to Kevin at Extrudabody! See Below! They can also be used for Staged Injection where the stock injectors provide 20 to 30% Fuel Needs and the ITB Injectors about 70 to 80% of the Fuel Needs! With injectors further from the Valve the Fuel has more time to Emulsify/Cool the Air Charge and makes power, injectors up close to the valve helps with Idle and Throttle Response! With that said Staged Injection and a Small Turbo will be VERY Tricky indeed to Tune, larger turbo's help with tuning for the streets, due to the lag makes the throttle transients not as rapid! MAP sensor fluctionations are a PITA and can cause serious tuning problems!

Dave of "Smith Motorworks" in Panama City Fl another 951 Guru is about to embark on an Extudabody ITB/Turbo for the 951, but it's a 3.1ltr 16V RACE MOTOR set-up!

Also with DIY ITB systems most people stumble when it comes to the Linkage system and the Actual Synch of the ITB's to open in unision with one another. Part throttle openings when 1 ITB flows more air than another and you Firing the Injectors in Batch Mode that means 1 or 2 will be leaner than the others! In a Turbo even slightly lean is not a Good thing!

Pictures came from Extrudabody's Facebook site! They will help you if you give them a call!

Turbo ITB 8V 2.0ltr

Turbo ITB 16V

Turbo ITB BMW M50 I6. It's making over 400hp with a 2.8ltr, Stock bottom end, and Stock Non-Vanos head, only extra thick gasket, and ARP Studs! Video's on Youtube of it running down 911 GT3's at it's first track event at Mid Ohio! This is a 1 Lap of America entry from Dreams to Reality or DTR in Florence Ky.

Agreed! And it seems like a shameless plug for extrudabody. Can anyone out there vouch for their products?
