Just added the K26/8 cheater chart to the first post. Need to get customer's approval for the K26/6 based one...

Definitely interested. ~300hp is my target for what I'd like to get out of my currently stock 86. Your stage II requires more mods and makes power than I want or need. I'd like to stay with the stock AFM. Cheater setup sounds like the ticket for me along with swapping out to a 3" exhaust.
Is this new setup designed to use stock injectors and FPR?

The cheater can be used with stock injectors, but will need a 3bar FPR.

Hi Tom, You mean another 951, not your 3L?? Yes, stock injectors and 3bar FPR. Some may opt for the larger injectors, which is also possible.

john what you need to build is a bolt on turbo your na kit set for like 8lbs of boost to put out like 220hp with the maf and software n stuff
something about the size of a k26, maybe even slightly smaller (since the k26 has good efficiency up to like 14psi) but without the water circulation. also the smaller size could make it possibly packageable off the passenger side, maybe with a regular log manifold ala callaway. dont know if a T3 would be too big for this...would be a cheap option though. there is a hugeee market for NAs wanting power, just check all the "turbo my na" threads! lol
especially since us NA guys are broke and dont want to pay $5000 for an SFR SC.

Sounds Perfect
When my 26/8 goes, maybe before, this is what I’d look for. I have a cat bypass, adjustable FPR and DPWG with stock injectors. Can this kit work with my setup?

John,
For those who are just starting to modify their car, this is a great idea.
For all of you rennlisters that are new to the 944 turbo, John makes great products. $2000 is a steal of a deal for that system with Johns superior support.

The product is already available. There are a few running with this setup already with great results (where do you think the "cheater" name come from? LOL
A stealth MAF can be used as well, it'll just be more $.
I haven't even considered offering this cheater turbo by itself. If I do, I'll have it as a product on the web-site.
As far as a turbo kit for the NA.. I think I'll let someone else tackle it.. We do offer the AFM and MAF software for the NA, even the Wasted Spark and PiggyBack.

really? $2000 and you have to send a core? i love the idea and the power levels but maybe i'm just a cheap f**ker but this seems like a buttload of money for a rebuilt turbo and chips. i would think about $1000-1200.
i mean no disrespect as i value your importance as a tuner but i'm just saying i wouldn't be able to afford that. of course, the stealth level doesn't hold much value for me even though i'm in CA. no one knows a stock turbo from an upgraded unit unless you're racing and just trying to build a cheater for a stock spec series.
how about the same set up but with a giant red flag which says "Not Stock" for $1000?

if you donate to me all that software and hardware ill figure out how to make it work and give you the design to mass produce, if you give me a 5% royalty on each unit sold
