A Stock 951 certainly has the power to hit 145-150 in 4th. Granted you need a raised rev limit to do so, which usually means a chipped car. My car only had chips when I dynoed at 240/250.

I had 255/40/17 Kuhmos on my 993 Cup II's and I wasn't thinking those tires would give me a 195mph top speed. I had done the math and I got about 183mph~. I was pretty certain at around 3500rpm in 5th, my car was doing 90.

You for sure need the long fifth gear to get a 951 close to 200mph.

Haven't looked at the number yet (probably will this coming weekend) but I'm pretty sure it's an S2 and it is for sure LSD. I think I'll hold on to it though

about 76 mph in 4th gear at 3400rpm

people say the vdo is optimistic but i have tested mine against a known good car and it is within like +/-3 mph

FWIW, up to 100mph my OEM speedo is dead nuts on. I have 225/45/17 255/40/17 tires and this is with both GPS and those stupid "here is your speed signs" that do nothing other than encourage you to max them out

According to my GPS (and I don't think it's inaccurate) when my speedo shows 100 I'm actually at 117...anyone know of any companies that can recalibrate them or can that even be done?

I'm running 255/40-17s, a rather common size. Anyone else have that much of an error?

Same here, mine is within 2mph or so verified by GPS.

same size tires on the back and like most folks i show 4-5 low @, 80 where you're showing 17% high @ 100.

i've got a speedo place in phx, doesn't help you, that puts you on rollers and runs actual and indicated up to 80 and provides a card that some folks use, when captured for speeding, when going to court.

My driving style is fairly reserved on the street. I rarely get tickets and when I do it's usually for not using a turn signal in the turn lane...

I just want my speedometer to read accurately!

you'll never pull 7k in 5th.
My Guru chip has a raised redline to 7,000 rpm. I have 335 rwhp (about 390 crank) and can hit the rev limiter in 5th at will. In fact the motor is still pulling.

Now having this confirmed I'm going to have to scout around some more and see if there's anything I can find different/special...

Going to check my block and see if the serial matches the car.
